Maria graduated with a Medical Office Administrator diploma in 2010. Since then she has worked in different medical settings including physiotherapy, mental health, and family medicine.
In February 2020 Maria decided to combine her passion for animals and her customer care experience from her previous roles, and joined the Bloorcourt team. Maria is grateful for the support of her amazing co-workers, lovely and passionate clients, and all of her new furry friends in helping make the leap from human to veterinary medicine so smooth and welcoming. After several years working up front with our clients, Maria trained as a veterinary assistant, and now splits her time between patient care and appointments, and customer service.
Maria has a teenage son and an Alaskan Husky dog named Arty, whom she treats as her second child! During her own time, Maria loves to play video games with her son and take Arty out for long walks at the park and to the lake.
