Ah spring! Warm days, green grass … and fleas & ticks! In just a few more weeks, mosquitoes carrying heartworm will also be out. Is YOUR dog protected?
Book a FREE flea/tick/heartworm risk assessment for your dog today, and one of our technicians will work with you to determine your dog’s individual risk (based on their lifestyle), and recommend a personalized prevention plan.
If we’ve seen your dog within the past year and their vaccines are up to date, they are eligible for one of these complimentary appointments. The veterinary technician will also take a blood sample for their heartworm and tick-borne disease testing and give them a dental exam and weight check-up – with no exam or appointment charge! Lab tests and preventative medications are not included, but are available at our lowest prices of the year, thanks to special promotions from our laboratory and suppliers.
If your dog is overdue for his or her annual health check-up and vaccines, this is a great time of year to come in, since the veterinarian can take care of their flea, tick and heartworm testing and prevention at the same time, so you can get everything done in one visit and take advantage of special seasonal pricing.
Not sure if fleas, ticks and heartworm are a concern for YOUR dog? Click to read one of our previous blog posts to learn more about each of these summer parasites.
